Acompanhamento de pacientes com câncer após radioterapia por enfermeiro-líder: revisão integrativa

Este estudo tem o objetivo de identificar quais são as estratégias lideradas por enfermeiros adotadas para acompanhamento do paciente com câncer após radioterapia. Trata-se de revisão integrativa da literatura. A busca foi realizada nas bases de dados CINAHL, Cochrane Library, LILACS, PubMed, Scopus e Web of Science. A qualidade metodológica foi avaliada pelas recomendações do Instituto Joanna Briggs®. Sete estudos foram incluídos. As estratégias de acompanhamento de pacientes incluíram algoritmo para padronização de consultas e manejo de sintomas, contato telefônico, aconselhamento presencial realizado por enfermeiros capacitados, com intervenção de reabilitação sexual combinada com livreto de informações para o paciente e clínica virtual de acompanhamento para controle do PSA. Seis estudos apresentaram baixo risco de viés, e um risco de viés moderado. Os resultados foram encorajadores quanto ao acompanhamento realizado pelo enfermeiro-líder, uma vez que os resultados dos estudos individuais demonstraram que as práticas de acompanhamento podem ser seguras e efetivas.
