Therefore, several studies have analyzed the phenomenon and predicted the wax disappearance temperature (WDT). This variable represents the exact solid-liquid equilibrium point. Such information is an effective aid in decision-making regarding pipelines and production facilities. However, the study of paraffin deposition is highly dependent on conducting experiments, which are typically costly and can make this type of analysis impractical. The increasing progress of models based on machine learning techniques has been an alternative to experimental and thermodynamic methods to predict this phenomenon. However, after the educational period, a question is important to ask about the lives of these social actors. Survival is crucial and perhaps some will start to live off the charity of others or the state. It is believed that the insertion into the job market is also crucial for them to have autonomy and more independence. Therefore, this research presents the scenario of labor inclusion of deaf people, seeking to understand the education/work relationship. The primary objective of this article is to analyze the proportion of influence of the educational process on the inclusion of deaf people in the formal job market in São Luís/MA. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews in the city of São Luís/MA, with four deaf participants, formally linked to federal spheres and private companies, in the following federal public institutions: the Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA) and the National Institute of Social Security (INSS) and two private companies in the retail sector. The results showed that education strongly influences the inclusion of deaf people in the job market. Therefore, access to higher education is a big step towards seeking vacancies in public positions, with better salaries, while a process interrupted in secondary education could allow for more exhaustive jobs in private companies that hire deaf people just to comply with what the quotas law recommends.
2024-04-12T00:00:00-03:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Concilium https://clium.org/index.php/edicoes/article/view/3226 Challenges in the diagnosis and management of brown widow spider (Latrodectus geometricus) envenomation in dogs 2024-04-02T07:45:52-03:00 Wille Alves Santana willer.veterinario@gmail.com Isabel Rodrigues Rosado isabel.rosado@uniube.br Marina Cazarini Madeira marinacazarinimadeira@gmail.com Marcus Vinícius Caetano de Sousa sousa.marcusviniciusmvet@hotmail.com Ian Martin ian.martin@uniube.br Endrigo Gabellini Leonel Alves endrigoglalves@gmail.com
This study reports two cases of araneism in dogs caused by the bite of the brown widow spider (Latrodectus geometricus), one of which resulted in death. In a post-war world (Russia and Ukraine), there was a need to improve studies on fertilizers available in the country, namely rock dust (PR), which there are few studies on. With this comes the need to evaluate the development of the carnation lemon tree, using rock dust fertilization. The experiment was carried out in a randomized block design with seven treatments with 25 replications, with two controls and different levels of fertilization with PR from 25 to 125%, all treatments filled with sandy soil and commercial substrate, totaling 175 lemon seedlings. clove. The preparation of treatments was carried out seven months before transplanting the seedlings, due to the main characteristic of slow release of nutrients from PR. The evaluations were carried out by measuring the plants, measuring height in centimeters and number of leaves counted one by one considering those fully expanded, and after the first seedling reached 15 cm in height, the diameter measured in millimeters began to be measured until reaching the point of grafting. The results obtained through the height and number of leaves show that treatment two with 25% rock dust developed better, and reached the grafting point earlier than the other treatments
2024-04-13T00:00:00-03:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Concilium https://clium.org/index.php/edicoes/article/view/3230 Characterization of polymetallic ore of zinc, copper and lead 2024-04-02T18:20:08-03:00 Thiago Goes thiagofgoes6@gmail.com Kelly Ferreira kelly.ferreira@ifsudestemg.edu.br Raulim Galvão engraulim@gmail.com Stephânia Nogueira stephania.nogueira@aluno.ufop.edu.br Carlos Pereira carlos.ii@ufop.edu.br
The study aimed to characterize a sample of approximately 150 kg of polymetallic zinc, copper and lead ore from the Aripuanã region, Mato Grosso. The performance of this process has been strongly affected by the control of the previous desliming stages. The presence of ultrafine particles promotes selectivity losses in the flotation circuits, in addition to a significant increase in the consumption of chemical reagents and pumping energy. The removal of ultrafine particles promotes metal losses, the need for additional dewatering steps, difficulties in handling and stacking together with flotation waste. This study focuses on investigating the feasibility of replacing desliming with high intensity vertical magnetic concentrators (VPHGMS). Pilot tests were carried out with this type of magnetic concentrator followed by flotation, the results show an increase in metal recovery of 4% when compared to the traditional desliming and flotation circuit, drastic possibility of reducing energy, chemical reagents and foot print and potential to reduce capex and opex by 22% and 24%, respectively, for new projects.
2024-04-27T00:00:00-03:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Concilium https://clium.org/index.php/edicoes/article/view/3284 Father Roberto Landell de Moura and his contribution in the history of science and mobile communications 2024-04-10T12:48:57-03:00 Ricardo Luiz Perez Teixeira ricardo.luiz@unifei.edu.br Ricardo Shitsuka rshitsuka@unifei.edu.br
One of the highlights on the science and technology in Brazil is Father Roberto Landell de Moura, a Brazilian who developed the first radio transmitter in the world carrying the human voice by means of electromagnetic waves in 1893.
