Brazil is home to one of the most diverse avifaunas in the world, with the number of species estimated at more than 1,919 species. The Caatinga is an exclusively Brazilian biome, it is a well-recognized ecological region located in the semi-arid interior of northeastern Brazil. In view of this, the present study aims to identify the avifauna present in the region of the enterprise. The area of the UFV Rosa Solar project covers approximately 459 hectares and is located in the municipality of Francisco Santos and Santo Antônio de Lisboa, in the southeastern portion of the state of Piauí. The avifauna sampling was carried out from two campaigns, the first campaign took place between July 21 and 26 and the second between November 23 and 29, 2020. A total of 129 species of birds were recorded, of which 15 species are endemic to the caatinga. The present study contributed to the observation of endemic species or those not present in the region, helping to identify the main anthropic factors that reduce the number of specimens, such as the process of environmental degradation.
