Objective: to analyze the most frequent types of obstetric violence experienced by pregnant women. Methods: this is a qualitative integrative review. Articles were selected from the PubMed and Portal Capes databases, using the descriptors obstetric violence and childbirth. The filters used were english, portuguese and spanish, from studies carried out in the last 10 years on humans and females between 13 and 45 years of age. Result: six articles were selected and it was found that the most frequent types of obstetric violence are episiotomy, the Kristeller maneuvre, the excessive touching, the prohibition of a companion, swearing, trivializing the mother';s pain and the administration of oxytocin without maternal consent. Conclusion: the most frequent types of obstetric violence are physical and verbal. In addition, it was observed that this is a subject that is still little discussed in academic papers, which was proven by the small number of findings in the literature.
