Resumo

This article presents the conception, implementation and tests of a system for monitoring and controlling the environmental variables inside a plant cultivation greenhouse. The system aims: to acquire, record and analyze data on: temperature, light, and humidity, in order to control these variables through specific actuators to keep the internal environment of the greenhouse within the desired parameters range for these three variables. The topology chosen for the sensor network was the mesh type using Wi-Fi connection, thereby enabling the monitoring of a relatively large area and, still, allowing a system modularity. The results obtained showed to be promising to become a commercial product.
