Proliferative keratitis is a chronic disease of unknown etiology that affects the ocular surface of felines, in addition, similar changes have also been reported in horses and rabbits. Generally, the disease is characterized by the development unilaterally and in the lateral quadrant of the affected eye of a white to pinkish plaque, vascularized and associated with corneal edema. It was intended in this work to carry out the report of two cases of the disease in felines, males and without definite crack, assisted at the private clinic Eye Health - Oftalmologia Veterinária, in the city of Campinas - SP and at the Veterinary Hospital of the Federal University of Lavras, in the city of Lavras - MG. The patients were referred to the veterinary ophthalmological service due to complaints of development of tissue formation on the unilateral corneal surface, and based on the findings of the anamnesis, clinical symptoms and histopathological and cytological examination, it was possible to conclude the definitive diagnosis of proliferative keratitis and institute the treatment. Not yet described in the literature about the use of the combination of topical use of fluormetholone acetate and 1.5% cliclosporine A, to control inflammation and local immunomodulation.
